  CHIP- Marketing and PR Volunteer Atma Mumbai Volunteer for CHIP - www.chip-in.org CHIP Mumbai is currently an undergoing dramatic organizational change and development. Professionalization of the organization, it operations and expansion mean 2008 will be an exciting and important year for the CHIP Mumbai future. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced volunteer to work with CHIP Mumbai Team and help in this development. Job role: The Atma Volunteer will work directly with Atma Mumbai Partner NGO CHIP Mumbai in a role as a Marketing & PR Volunteer. The role will be working together with the Project Coordinator primarily in the organizational development area. Period of volunteering: Minimum time of three months; from 1st April 2008 Responsibilities: Assisting in fundraising activities of the organization, planning and execution. Assist in the development and updating of the organizations marketing and fundraising materials. Assisting the Project Coordinator in the day-to-day development of organizations operations, documentation for future planning and development. Skills requirements: - Good knowledge of Microsoft office - Social skills - Good communication skills - Hindi speakers looked upon favorably - Marketing or Financial knowledge preferred. Housing and working conditions: Atma Mumbai will assist to find housing for Volunteer. The volunteer will work at the CHIP office located in Andheri, as well as in the school and field at sites in Jogeshwari. A laptop will be provided by Atma Mumbai during the working period. A stipend will not be provided, the cost of travel, housing and living expenses will be the responsibility of the volunteer. Expectations To work diligently for the organization based on the above mentioned areas, creating focus while remaining flexible within the working environment. Expectation of Atma Mumbai: Provide preparation information prior to the commencement, and give support and guidance throughout the volunteer period. Assist in adapting to Mumbai city and Indian culture and in the working relations with the NGO.
