We are seeking a D.C.-based Deputy Director to support our Enterprise Development & Competitiveness Portfolio activities in Lebanon and elsewhere. Responsibilities are to assist in portfolio management, backstop assigned projects, review work plans and semi-annual reports, oversee project deliverables, coordinate business activities between headquarters and field offices, monitor financial forecasts of current and/or potential project expenditures in accordance to USAID regulations, and collaborate with field staff to identify new business opportunities. The successful candidate will also contribute to technical deliverables under the Accelerated Microenterprise Advancement Project: Business Development Services (AMAP BDS). Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other field relevant to one of ACDI/VOCA's core competencies with at least five years of development experience, including financial management oversight on donor-funded projects and relevant technical industry knowledge of USAID-funded projects including at least one year of overseas field work required. Must possess strong oral, written, analytical and organizational skills; and working knowledge in MS Excel, Word and internet as a research tool.
