Team Leader - Road Maintenance Project, Philippines URS International Development is a leading design, infrastructure, economic development and program delivery partner of choice for international aid and development programs globally. We have managed over 140 programs across 19 countries with a range of private sector clients, governments and donors. As part of the global URS Corporation, we represent one of the largest infrastructure and transport consultancies world-wide. URS is preparing to tender for upcoming road management and maintenance projects within the Philippines. We now invite applications from senior experienced professionals for the role of Team Leader. This role will be responsible for implementing major institutional reform to improve road maintenance at the sub-national level in the Philippines. Critical to your success in this role, will be your strong understanding of public sector reform and capacity building processes, plus change management experience in a senior management or Team Leader role. Regular liaison with key clients, advisers and stakeholders is a key task, and will therefore demand superior communication and negotiation skills honed over several years of international experience. - Applicant Requirements:
In addition you must have: - an appropriate degree and/or post-graduate qualifications in engineering. - experience in implementing infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on provincial roads in developing countries. - demonstrated ability to act as a successful change agent. (essential) - willingness to undertake field trips to remote areas under arduous conditions. (essential) - previous project planning and staff management experience.
