URS is preparing to tender for an upcoming forest and climate change advisory project within Indonesia. We now invite applications from senior experienced professionals for the role of Facility Manager. This role is expected to be responsible for the operation and management of a facility providing technical assistance, administrative and logistical support to the Government of Indonesia and the Donor Agency to implement and assess a Forest and Climate program Critical to your success in this role, will be your demonstrated experience in facility management, program design, monitoring and evaluation, systems design, establishment and management of corporate governance, ideally within the natural resource sector. Regular liaison with key clients, advisers and stakeholders is a key task, and will therefore demand superior communication and negotiation skills honed over several years of international experience. - Applicant Requirements:
In addition you will have: - strong experience in financial office and project management. (highly regarded) - experience co-ordinating and overseeing a broad range of activities. (essential) - previous project planning and staff management experience. (essential) - demonstrated communication skills and ability to liaise with program stakeholders at all levels. (essential) - fluency in both spoken and written English. (essential) - fluency in spoken Bahasa Indonesian. (highly regarded) - a strong background working in Indonesia. (highly regarded) - willingness to undertake field trips to remote areas under arduous conditions. - an appropriate degree and/or post-graduate qualifications in business management or finance.
