- Description:
DAI seeks a Chief of Party for an upcoming USAID-funded private sector competitiveness program in the Balkans. The program seeks to spur economic growth in diverse sectors through improvements in value chain performance, the business enabling environment, and the workforce. Activities will address uneven capacity in the public and private sectors to support business growth, while seeking the sustained, robust production of goods and services for domestic and foreign markets. More work is expected in agriculture than the other sectors. Required qualifications include: -Previous experience as a COP on a USAID funded project -10 or more years of experience in competitiveness, cluster or value chain issues, preferably related to agriculture, wood industry and tourism -5 or more experience in the Balkans -Strong leadership skills, with an inclusive management style -Excellent networking and liaison skills with clients, donors and stakeholders -Minimum of a masters degree in business, agriculture or relevant field - Application instructions:
