Global Health Product Development Manager An exciting opportunity exists within RTI International's Global Health Technologies Group for a Global Health Product Manager. The role will be responsible for providing leadership in the composition of strategies for development and commercialization of global health products, including diagnostics, medical devices, water purification technologies, drug delivery platforms, and information technology. Previous experience commercializing global health products is required. - Develops and implements global health business plans for early stage companies developing dual market technologies. - Provides recommendations for public-private partnerships to expand the sustainable (commercially viable) availability of global health products - Assesses manufacturers production and distributors marketing capacity to supply quality, low-cost global health products to developing world markets - Works to alignment products with priorities of international, country government and NGOs. - Seeks input from global, national and regional gatekeepers for product acceptance and launch in a country or region and determines the sequence that these partners should be engaged. Qualifications: Minimum of a BS and 16 years relevant experience or MS and 12 years of relevant work experience in market research, analysis, strategy development, and commercialization of global health products. MBA degree strongly preferred. - Significant experience in securing products/technologies to support the sustainability of programs, in both the public and private sectors. Focus on integration of sustainability issues in the conceptualization, planning and implementation of programs - Experience in supply chain management, distribution and logistics for global health products. - Program and project development; Conceptualize, design and manage programs, establishing in-country capacity, strategic and operational planning; - Strong recruitment, team building, and people management skills - Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams that integrate business and marketing approaches in developing world settings - International experience; Work experience in Asia, Latin America, and/or Africa Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with strategic and operational assessments of private sector distribution structure and capacity for diagnostic and medical devices a plus. - Development of public-private partnerships for marketing, manufacturing, and commercialization. - Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external global health key opinion leaders and building partnerships with these leaders. - Application instructions:
