For more information, please visit: www.psi.org. PSI seeks candidates for Male Circumcision Partnership Project Manager to provide project management support for PSI's global mission. PSI, Marie Stopes International (MSI), JHPEIGO and Population Council formed a Male Circumcision Partnership (MCP) to scale up safe, effective adult MC services in Swaziland. The MCP Project Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of MCP's project, reporting to the Country Director and the MCP Director. The Project Manager will coordinate the development of the MCP project components: training, quality assurance, communications, supply chain management, provider network maintenance, and administration. Providing support and oversight for project sites as well as liaising with other staff as necessary to develop and implement materials, systems, and policies for the project will be an integral part of the position. Working closely with the MCP Director, they will manage a team that will include a Deputy Project Manager, Training/QA and Research staff. The MCP Manager will liaise and work with numerous project partners and stakeholders in the public, private, and NGO sectors. RESPONSIBILITES: - Develop and implement work plans, creative briefs and research briefs for MC communications. - Manage the development and testing of communication materials. - Manage the development and implementation of a media advocacy plan. - Lead a staff of clinical providers and other support staff to develop male circumcision service delivery sites. - Represent PSI on the MC Task Force and engage Ministry of Health, National AIDS Council and other partners in support of policy and guideline development. - Build technical competence of participating MCP network practitioners through formal training workshops, follow-up visits, refresher trainings, newsletters and other approaches. - Ensure that all necessary materials, systems and policies are developed on schedule. - Work with project sites to develop and finalize Memoranda of Understanding. - Revise existing MC training materials and processes. - Determine procedures and logistics of quality assurance system. - Develop content for trainings for project site support staff on scheduling, equipment/supply management, and reporting. - Develop and implement operational procedures and logistics for client counseling, support and follow-up. - Regularly visit project partners to obtain updates on project progress and ensure sites are maintaining quality service delivery, submitting necessary MIS reports and operating according to minimum standards. - Complete and submit monthly activity reports and update project timeline. - Collect and review monthly reports for all project partners. - Any other duties as necessary to achieve the program objectives. QUALIFICATIONS: - An advanced graduate degree and a minimum of 3 years experience working in a developing country environment; - Demonstrated experience developing communications campaigns. - Experience in developing and managing project strategies, implementation and monitoring and evaluation; - Demonstrated excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills; - Demonstrated interest in global health issues. Experience working in the field of HIV, male circumcision delivery or HIV prevention is preferred; - Ability to travel up to 30% in country. - Application instructions:
