For more information, please visit: www.psi.org. PSI Nepal seeks an experienced and politically savvy Deputy Country Representative to assist in rapid scale-up of dynamic and innovative platform. The Deputy CR will join a national Deputy CR on the senior management team and co-lead the rapid expansion of a new $12M annual budget across five program areas. These program areas include SWS, pediatric zinc for under-5 diarrhea, fortified complementary infant cereal, malaria prevention (GFATM LLINs) and a new FP health services portfolio. This exciting leadership opportunity reports to the Country Representative and is based in Kathmandu with an immediate start date. RESPONSIBILITES: - Provide programmatic, technical and management leadership across all functional areas; - Lead across all facets of the new Family Planning project; and - Utilize PSI research methodologies (PERForM, TraC, MAP, FoCus) to create evidence-based decision making. QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 5-7 years developing country experience; - Experience in FP technical areas, managing a social franchise, rapid start-up, performance-based funding, and large donor-funded projects; - A proven track record of results in public, private and NGO sectors; - Interest in or experience with the Total Market Approach; - Experience in politically challenging settings; and - Exceptional diplomatic skills and comfortable with ongoing political scenario. The successful candidate will be a creative, innovative and strategic thinker, and will have: excellent communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills; a strong interest in private sector approaches to development; and a proven ability to produce results. - Application instructions:
