    The New Zealand Agency for International Development, NZAID, acting for and on behalf of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade, is inviting the submission of proposals from consultants interested in designing a project to improve the early childhood and post-early childhood education in the Vietnamese province of Gia Lai.

    In order to put together a team to do this work, NZAID is seeking proposals from consultants interested in either of the following roles: -Team leader - International Senior Education Specialist, or - Team member - International Education Specialist Details of the work and the skills required are contained in the attached RFP. Organisations are welcome to propose two consultants for this work, however NZAID reserves the right to accept only one of the nominated individuals, and to put together a team from all proposals submitted and/or commission additional expertise if required. NZAID will recruit separately for three additional local (national) roles to assist the international consultants with the design of the project. The three additional team member roles are: a National Institutional Strengthening/Finance Specialist, a National Education Specialist and a National Early Childhood Education Specialist.
  • Application instructions:
    The team will conduct much of its work in and around Hanoi and in the Gia Lai province of Viet Nam. It is expected that the design of the project will take up to seven weeks commencing in July 2008. Consultants who participate in the design of this project will not be considered by NZAID for subsequent work on this project, for example project implementation or review.
