LAPIS aims to contribute to the quality of basic education in Islamic schools in Indonesia. We are seeking a development consultant as a Sustainability Adviser. The consultant will have a demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of sustainability issues in a development context. - Applicant Requirements:
Consultants will have demonstrated experience in the following areas: - Demonstrated understanding of sustainability issues and practice in the development context; - Substantial conceptual and analytical ability, including the ability to provide innovative thinking in identifying and solving problems within a development context; - Knowledge and experience with participatory development practice; - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with and provide advice to LAPIS team members and technical advisers and a range of local groups and individuals; - Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a team; and - Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills. Knowledge of basic education in Islamic Schools in Indonesia and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia will be advantageous. - Application instructions:
