The Basic Education Program is part of the Australian Indonesia partnership for Reconstruction and Development, targeting basic education in areas of Indonesia. The Basic Education Program continues to support Australia's focus on poverty alleviation, gender issues in education, junior and secondary education and education standards and governance. We are currently seeking a Senior Public Administration Adviser for a 4 month input. This is a long term position based in Jakarta. - Applicant Requirements:
The consultant will have experience in: - Appropriate recognised tertiary qualifications or similar; - Proven track record at senior level in public administration and institutional assessment and reporting; - Broad knowledge and analytical skills related to organisational and management reform; - Extensive experience in capacity development and public sector reform issues in a developing country, with the ability to build capacity of senior management in information reporting strategies; - Understanding of working within a public service department to provide high level of service within limited resources; - Experience in developing strategic options related to systems planning and reporting including local Government and community governance. - Application instructions:
