KBR is tracking several major opportunities throughout the Asia-Pacific region that involve encompassing, multi-disciplinary approaches to supporting infrastructure development and maintenance. These approaches involve a range of coordinated activities including technical assistance and capacity building in areas as diverse as leadership, policy formulation and advocacy, asset management, infrastructure network planning, procurement, financial management and audit, M&E, and contract management. We anticipate that over the next 12 months, a wide range of long-term and short-term opportunities will become available for experts in these fields. Opportunities may be country-specific or regional roles. In preparation for these opportunities, we are inviting experienced consultants with expertise in the field of Public Expenditure Management to express interest in future work on KBR projects. - Applicant Requirements:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate: - a history of senior public sector expenditure planning/management experience (preferably within the APS, NZPS or state/local level government) - evidence of delivering training or other forms of capacity building in public sector expenditure planning/management - an appreciation of the political influences on public expenditure management and other forces that shape decision-making - appropriate and relevant internationally recognised qualifications - previous experience on offshore donor-funded initiatives will be highly regarded, but not essential for individuals with the right experience and attitude Experts involved in KBR's international development activities enjoy comprehensive support from our experienced project managers and administrative staff.
