PSI seeks a Contracts Analyst with demonstrated "cradle to grave" experience in administering USAID and other USG and foreign government bilateral and multilateral grants and contracts, as well as foundation grants for the Latin America/Caribbean portfolio and other countries as assigned. The position is based in Washington, D.C. and reports to the Director of Contracts. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) monitor contract performance; 2) monitor and maintain contract compliance; 3) review and approval of all donor budgets; 4) execute contract actions; and 5) monitor and closer of subawards. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Contract administration: establish contract deliverables; disseminate contract information and provide contract and regulation interpretation, advice and guidance during initial donor negotiations, project startup and implementation; perform actions such as amendments, terminations, and resolution of discrepancies in contract performance; develop and administer subcontracts and consultant contracts; contract closeouts; Contract monitoring: monitor contract performance; financial management; ensure compliance with provisions and regulations; monitor subcontract performance; Other Contract Oversight: ensure that proper terms are included in PSI proposals and contracts in a manner consistent with PSI and donor policy and procedures. The Analyst will work closely with outside donors, PSI contracts staff, program staff, and field staff. - Applicant Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree; - 2+ years grants/contracts or related work experience. Familiarity with US government regulations such as OMB circulars and FAR. Familiarity with other donors such as UN agencies, World Bank, Global Fund and foundations; - Strong financial analysis skills; - Ability to work as a member of a team and to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously; - Excellent Word, Excel required; familiarity with Lawson System preferred; - Spanish language skills. - Application instructions:
