An exciting position facilitating, developing and implementing a program for secondary school teachers of English in the District of Ermera in Timor-Leste ESL/EFL qualifications and experience in professional development, program design and delivery required. Previous overseas experience is desirable. This is a Volunteer Position. Pre-departure program, travel expenses and living allowance are included in the support program and volunteer package provided. The Supporting Teachers of English Program (STEP) is a new and challenging initiative that will provide a professional development program for teachers of English in Secondary and Pre-secondary schools (Yrs 7-12). The Pilot Project will be based in Gleno, in the District of Ermera and will be of 6 months duration from the time of arrival in Gleno. The volunteer will facilitate the design process and establish a six month pilot program that will support a small group of teachers of English who are already working in secondary schools in the Ermera District of Timor-Leste. - Applicant Requirements:
