White Paper on Irish Aid

This is the Irish Government's first ever white paper on aid to developing countries. Ireland will increase spending on its aid programme by €1.5bn until 2012, when it will reach its long-promised target of spending of 0.7% of GNP in oversees aid. (The Taoiseach, Septmeber 2006)

Development Cooperation Ireland

Development Cooperation Ireland (DCI) is the Government of Ireland's programme of assistance to developing countries. Ireland has had an official development assistance programme since 1974.
