This is advance notice of the Wara Blong Life internet-based project. www.megabright.co.nz/WaraBlongLife/home.htm This is a fun, interactive, classroom activity where students learn about global water and sanitation issues through a creative process. Wara Blong Life is an Oxfam educational project based on the Technology, Social Studies and Health and Physical Education curricula. It takes place in term 4. Students are being asked to help design a method of washing hands that requires very little water. The context for study is health education and sanitation in primary schools in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
