- Asia Pacific Business Coalition on AIDS

Launched in 2006, the Asia Pacific Business Coalition on AIDS supports the establishment and coordination of country-level business coalitions through out the Asia Pacific region. The APBCA network of business coalitions collaborate to assist companies manage the impact of the HIV epidemic on their business and the communities in which they operate.

- Asia Pacific Council of AIDS Service Organizations (APCASO)

APCASO is a network of NGOs and CBOs that provide HIV/AIDS services within the Asia and Pacific region. In countries that have strong NGOs and CBOs working in HIV/AIDS, APCASO support is aimed at regional projects and networks rather than support for individual projects or organisations. There is no formal membership policy, so any non-government and community-based organisation working on HIV/AIDS in the region can be a member.

ASHM is the Australasian organisation representing the medical and health sector in HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and related areas. ASHM's International Program is part of Australia's regional response to the HIV epidemic in the Asia-Pacific region. Report from the joint WHO/UNICEF/UNAIDS technical consultation on scaling up HIV testing and counselling in the Asia Pacific. The aim of the meeting was to discuss how to scale up HIV testing and counselling services, discuss core public health approaches, ethical principles and human rights values to guide the expansion of HIV testing and counselling, and identify and agree on key actions for follow-up at the regional and country level for policy and programme implementation (WHO, 2007).

YouandAIDS.org is an HIV/AIDS portal for Asia Pacific that seeks to address the strongly-felt information and services needs of the region, particularly in the overall development context, and act as a regional platform to synergise multisectoral responses against the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The Initiative, which began under the UNAIDS Inter Country Team (South Asia), has been expanded and is being taken forward by the UNDP Regional HIV and Development Programme for South and North East Asia (REACH Beyond Borders), as part of its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) activities. The portal also seeks to promote networking, strengthen advocacy and catalyse civil society responses.
