Tuvalu Association of NGOs

TANGOS is a community-based organization that encourages and assists NGOs in their work to enable human development within Tuvalu. TANGO encourages this to be undertaken in a sustainable manner, ensuring the long-term survival of their own organization and any projects in which it assists. TANGO seeks to ensure transparency and accountability for the activities for TANGO and other members of the civil society and offers leadership to NGOs by example and guidance.

Dóchas: Irish Association of Non-Governmental Organisations

Dóchas is the umbrella organisation of Irish Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) involved in development and relief overseas and/or in the provision of development education. Dóchas aims to provide a forum for consultation and co-operation between its Members as well as to help them speak with a single voice on development issues. Dóchas is not a funding agency and is not involved in overseas projects.

Europe's Forum on International Cooperation [Euforic]

Commonwealth Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (CANGO)

CANGO has the prime objective of uniting non-governmental organizations in the 52 member states of the Commonwealth in global peace and development. Non-Governmental Organizations who operate in any of the Commonwealth member states are free to register and participate in its activities. The Commonwealth Association of Non-Governmental Organizations, CANGO, is an international organization that provides mechanism and support needed by non-governmental organizations in the Commonwealth member States network, share, connect, empower, enrich and enlighten mankind and create a better world to live in.

Council for International Development (CID)

The Council for International Development (CID) was formed in 1985 by a small group of aid and development agencies which identified the need to coordinate some activities and present a single voice on issues of common concern. Today CID has 50 members encompassing most of New Zealand's major Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs). CID works to achieve effective high quality international development programmes which focus on the alleviation and eradication of poverty and works to enhance the capacity and participation of member agencies, the NZ Government and other sectors of the NZ community.

Association of Non-Governmental Organisations of Aotearoa (ANGOA)

ANGOA ... is a coordinating and networking organisation for more than forty other Non-Government Organisations (NGOs). Pacific Islands Association of Non-Government Organisations (PIANGO)

The Pacific Islands Association of Non-Government Organisations, PIANGO, is a regional network of community based associations and organisations, committed to giving voice to the aspirations of Pacific Peoples. PIANGO was founded in 1991. It contributes to regional networking, aids communication and cooperation between island communities, and allows representation for Pacific NGOs at the national, regional and international levels.

Forum Syd Swedish NGO Centre for Development Cooperation

Forum Syd is a meeting place for people with different ideas and experiences, all working towards a common goal: global justice and sustainable development. It consists of more than 120 member organisations with a diversity of ideologies and activities. Some of these are large organisations with turnovers reaching hundreds of millions of crowns and with lengthy experience of working with South and East, while others are small local associations kept alive by the voluntary work of individual members.

Lesotho Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (LCN)

The Lesotho Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (LCN) was founded in May 1990 as umbrella body for Lesotho NGOs. The main objective for which LCN was established is to provide supportive services to the NGO community in Lesotho through networking, leadership, information dissemination, capacity building, co-ordination, advocacy and representation when dealing with international community and government. The Council's mission is to stimulate, promote and support NGOs in their development efforts.

Australian Council for International Development (ACFID)

ACFID is the coordinating body for 90 Australian non-government organisations working in the field of overseas aid and development.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations

Established in 1919, NCVO is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England with a growing membership of over 1,300 voluntary organisations. NCVO represents the views of its members and the wider voluntary sector to government, the EU and other bodies. It is at the leading edge of research into, and analysis of, the voluntary sector and provides high quality information and advice.
