- Overcoming Lost Childhoods: Lessons learnt from the rehabilitation and reintegration of former child soldiers in Columbia [pdf]
-
This report summarises the lessons learned and recommendations from research into the specific rehabilitation and social reinsertion needs of former child soldiers in Colombia. Given the critical importance of the reintegration phase, Y Care International and YMCA Bogota have focused on lessons learned from Colombia's reintegration programme as it represents the most difficult and determinant phase in the life of a former child solider (Y Care International, January 2008).

- Stichting Radio La Benevolencija
-
A Rwandan Reconciliation Radio. Eight years after the genocide, Rwanda is trying in some way to restore and heal the enormous psychological and social damage created by this genocide. A central role in this is being played by the Unity and Reconciliation Committee (URC), which was set up by the government. One of the projects being supported by the URC is one headed by Ervin Staub, professor of psychology at the University of Massachusetts specialized in genocide and reconciliation, and Laurie Pearlman, a trauma treatment specialist heading TREATI, an NGO specializing in trauma-focused research, professional training, and community education. Professor Staub's and Dr Pearlman's approach has proven itself successful in Rwandan healing and reconciliation efforts (for more detail see the website of Rwanda: Healing and Reconciliation).
