Children of Darfur: Send a Postcard to the President!

Children are the youngest survivors of this genocide, and their drawings depict the atrocities that they face. Dr. Jerry Ehrlich, a pediatrician from New Jersey, collected drawings from children in Darfur and smuggled them to the U.S. in pages of a Sunday edition of the New York Times. Africa Action has converted these drawings into an exhibit to help remind people of the on-going genocide in Darfur. With that exhibit we have produced postcards with a child's artwork and a message to George Bush. Please join us today by signing this electronic postcard to the President calling for action to protect the children of Darfur.

Ensure Justice for the People of Darfur

Despite international outrage over the human rights crisis in Darfur, not a single perpetrator of war crimes or crimes against humanity has been brought to justice. Send two crucial messages to Secretary of State Rice and your Members of Congress today: strengthen the U.S. government's relationship with the ICC, and keep the pressure on Sudan's government to cooperate with the ICC investigation.

Global Day's for Darfur

Create Worldwide Awareness: Time is running out for the people of Darfur. Four years of genocidal violence has left over 400,000 dead, 2.5 million innocent civilians displaced, and 4 million men, women, and children completely reliant on international aid for survival. Not since the Rwandan genocide of 1994 has the world seen such a calculated campaign of displacement, starvation, rape, and mass slaughter. (Save Darfur, April 2007)

Help Stop the Escalating Violence in the Middle East

As the current crisis in Israel and the Occupied Territories continues to escalate, the respect and observance of international law has declined dramatically. Israeli armed forces have targeted civilian infrastructure leaving thousands without electricity and water. Palestinian armed groups have taken one soldier hostage and killed one settler in the West Bank. This follows a period where Israeli air strikes killed dozens of Palestinians including many civilians and Palestinians armed groups launched hundreds of "qassam" rockets injuring several Israelis. Please take action now and send a letter to all sides asking them to stop the violence.
